A new perspective

Let me share with you how my logo manifested. The very start of a new design can always be a bit

unsettling because there are many things to consider. It takes perseverance, patience, and many iterations but the outcome is always rewarding.

revealing the mystery

Nature is part of us as we are part of nature, a phrase that I stand behind with every fiber of my being. One thing that comes naturally to me is to connect to this unknown and intangible realm that guides all of my designs and nature provides so many layers. But there is also the in-between places,

the liminal space, that holds great mystery and a well of creativity. It helps to start my creation process. Blending the organic with the digital world holds powerful possibilities.

I invite you to explore your inner musings too.

Design Process

During my research phase to formulate my internal mood board, I came across an interesting logo.

It looked like three crescent moons intermingling. The way they were arranged made me think of a spiral and there was the foundation for my logo.

Learning about symbolism using semiotic principles to communicate a message is such a vast topic that piqued my interest early on in life. The spiral is an ancient symbol of interconnectivity and is found all over the world in artifacts and early buildings. Circles and spirals are also commonly found in nature and represent the cyclical forces that we humans experience throughout our lifetimes.

Life itself is a collection of phases and cycles, progress, and constant movement.

The helix shape of a spiral is also seen as a representation of birth and constant rebirth. It is revered as the symbol of creation intuition and change. Whenever I feel a creative block or I catch myself spiraling in my head for too long, I have to remind myself to go back to nature

and reconnect with my inner muse which always infuses me with new ideas after a short hiatus.

My color scheme is a complimentary color collection with green

being the most obvious to show my love for Mother Earth and everything in it. The specs of purple are related to creativity and spirituality. A perfect match of my favorite colors paired with my lifestyle and personality.
